Old Government House

Join Christopher Valttila author of &#x27;Peerless&#x27; for a book launch and floor talk at Old Government House. &#x27;Peerless&#x27; relates the history of the author&#x27;s great grandfather and great grandmother Lord Henry Phipps and Lady Norma Phipps (nee Norma Leith Hay) from Lord Henry&#x27;s arrival in Queensland as Aide de Camp to his father the 2nd Marquess of Normanby, a Governor of Queensland from 1871 to 1874 to his tragic suicide in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens in 1905.
