This pottery wheel course is designed for beginners (intermediates welcome), and with only five participants per course, you’ll receive personal instruction at every stage — from centering your first piece on the wheel to beautifully glazed ceramics ready to take home.
You won’t be left to “figure it out”, each session offers hands-on guidance so you can create pieces you’ll treasure for years.
The Barn is surrounded by open lawn, trees and birdsong, this is more than a class — it’s a creative escape.

What You’ll Learn
Over six weeks, you’ll be guided through:
• Preparing and wedging clay
• Centering and wheel throwing
• Forming bowls, mugs and vessels
• Trimming and refining shapes
• Surface texture and decorative underglazes
• Glazing your finished pieces
Skills are introduced progressively, allowing confidence and craftsmanship to grow naturally each week.
