The workshop includes a demonstration of a small private 5G network and how the system can be used for research, teaching and development.

<p>The 5G Workshop is scheduled for 30 November 2023 in Room 8, Level 6, Building 57 at RMIT University on Lygon St. Enter from Lygon St or O'Grady Place.</p><p>The workshop will include a demonstration of a portable 5G system that includes:</p><ul><li>Supports 4G and 5G Standalone (SA)</li><li>5G Non-Standalone (NSA) support with optional additional radio</li><li>Supports all sub-6 GHz frequency bands in TDD and FDD</li><li>Supports LTE-M</li><li>Integrates 4G and 5G Firecell Core &amp; RAN</li><li>Smartphone with SIM included</li><li>O-RAN split 7.2 compatible via SFP+ port</li></ul>
