This is an opportunity for you to learn with other health students about Interprofessional Collaborative Practice.

Southern Queensland Rural Health Toowoomba (SQRH) / Baillie Henderson Hospital

During the workshop you will have the opportunity to learn about, from and with students from a variety of health professions who are also on placement.This training will provide you with the knowledge and range of skills to become part of an interprofessional, practice ready, health workforce.This workshop is based on the six competencies from the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative Framework:<ul><li>Role Clarification</li><li>Interprofessional Communication</li><li>Interprofessional Conflict Resolution</li><li>Team Functioning</li><li>Collaborative Leadership</li><li>Patient / Family / Community Centred Care</li></ul>Please ensure prior to registration, you have discussed with your supervisor your availability to be released from placement for attendance at SWIPE. PLEASE NOTE - BYO lunch or there is a canteen on campusPlease ensure you advise via email to sqrh@uq.edu.au if you are unable to attend on the day.
