This workshop series has been developed to support clinicians who want to improve their supervisory skills.

WHAT IS THE WORKSHOP ABOUT? This workshop series has been developed to support clinicians who are new to student supervision, want to improve their supervisory skills, or for whom it has been an extended period of time since providing supervision to students.This workshop is appropriate for clinicians from all professions including nursing, midwifery, allied health, and medicine.Workshop topics:6th April- Introduction to Interprofessional Practice and Learning13th April- Facilitating Reflective Practice- Introductory Level20th April- Facilitating Clinical Reasoning- Introductory Level27th April- Understanding Teaching and Learning Styles4th May- Managing Underperforming Students11th May- Providing Effective Feedback18th May- Difficult Conversations25th May- Student Led ProjectsPlease note this registration is for all 8 topics. Please ensure you advise via email to sqrh@uq.edu.au if you are unable to attend on the day.If you are only wanting to attend single workshops, please register via the specific workshop event option for each topic.All workshop material will be emailed to you prior to each workshop and all workshops will be online via Zoom.
