Come along and make your own beautifully bound notebook.

Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens

Roll on in and join this creative workshop where each participant will make their own little ‘Bard Book’ a side-stitched notebook handsewn with waxed linen thread and bound with snippets of pages from vintage Shakespeare books, as well as an assortment of coloured and textured papers. If you choose to book in for the Shakespearean nature journaling workshops too you can use this to record all of your Shakespearean musings or simply sketch some memories of the day. It takes approximately half an hour to an hour to complete a book and the first &#x27;rolling&#x27; session will be kicking off at 10am with opportunity for people to join in the fun over the next few hours. All the pre-prepared materials, beautifully illustrated instruction sheets and all the tools /equipment for use during the workshops will be supplied.This creative workshop is suitable for all ages 7 - 16.For more information please email: BotGardensSHA@brisbane.qld.gov.au
