Join celebrated wildflower photographer Sophie Xiang to learn how to use your phone camera to capture beautiful images of our local flora.

Sophie is an enthusiastic self-taught photographer who uses the camera function of her mobile phone. Sophie enjoys the simplicity and convenience of phone photography and has picked up many tips along her journey. Join Sophie on a walk through Trigg Bushland Reserve as she shares how to capture the best images from your phone camera. Sophie is passionate about wildflower photography, and uses her flower images to convey the smell of the bushland, the intriguing cycle of life and portray the beauty of our unique flora.Sophie enjoys delivering workshops and her photographs are widely shared on social media, science research and artists’ references&#x27;. Please meet at Kevan Langdon Reserve, located on the south side of St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School, just off Elliott Road (see map below). Please bring drinking water, wear walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.This event is provided by the Friends of Trigg Bushland and Friends of Star Swamp, through funding from the Western Australian Government&#x27;s State NRM Program.
