Hear about new discoveries and test your knowledge of old Perth.

<h3>The OldPerth website provides a visually rich way to explore over 10,000 historical images of Perth and surrounds. This talk is hosted by Curtin University and will explore some of the new discoveries on the website and will test attendees&#x27; knowledge of OldPerth.</h3><h3>During the presentation, images from the collection of the State Library of Western Australia which have been geo-located and presented on a mapping interface will be shown and explored. His visualisation work covers many areas of cultural heritage from shipwrecks to historical images. The HIVE supports and encourages the use of visualisation technologies in research projects across the University.  In 2015 the HIVE supported a summer internship project which was launched the next year as the Historical Panoramas website: www.HistoricalPanoramas.com.au   The OldPerth project is another example of the innovative visualisation technology projects being developed at the HIVE.
