Explore (or re-visit) the wonderful, low-tech medium of lino printing with Artist Megan Grinstead in Brisbane. Using Ezy carve printing blocks, learn how to transfer an image of your creation onto a block, then print and hand-colour your artwork.With Megan, you will be investigating the symbolism of plants, collaging images together, block printing onto paper, and much more!The space is air-conditioned, and as you create you'll be provided with some small nibbles, tea, and coffee.You will be given a small block to work with, with all tools and materials provided. At the end of the class, take home your unique artwork and the confidence and skills to make many more!Meet Your TeacherMegan Grinstead is a Brisbane-based artist, tutor, and designer who loves lino and sharing her skills. She currently runs afternoon children's art classes and is also working on a textile design range.With many years of experience in both making and teaching, you will be in more than capable hands as Megan guides you through the lino cutting, printing, and colouring process every step of the way.
