We are delighted to invite you to a training workshop that will deliver key information and assistance with different modules in Sentral software to ensure an efficient communication with parents.Please note: a participant can freely register for these workshops to reserve a spot. An invoice will be sent to your school following your attendance at this Workshop. Cost details can be found at the bottom of the page.Workshop Objective: Learn how to communicate with parents in an efficient and effective way on the following topics: <ul><li>Absence explanation and future absences</li><li>Parent teacher Interviews</li><li>School events and reminders</li><li>Updates and news feed</li></ul>Workshop Outline: MESSAGING AND PARENT PORTALHow to leverage the Messaging module to handle student absences <ul><li>Set-up up the module</li><li>using email and sms for absence notifications</li><li>manage sent/outbound and received messages</li><li>set-up templates</li><li>draw reports</li></ul>How to leverage the Parent Portal to communicate with parentsPortal Console <ul><li>Settings</li><li>Access Controls, including, but not limited to Attendance, Reporting, Activity Timeline, Interviews)</li><li>Letter/email setup (Family Vs Non-Residential)</li><li>Portal login – home screen image</li><li>Future Absence Reasons</li></ul>Parent Portal<ul><li>Family keys vs Student Keys</li><li>Generate keys and print letters</li><li>Reading the screens</li><li>Manage users</li></ul>App Registration/linking and troubleshootingNews FeedThis Workshop costs $250 per session as an introductory price per person. This cost will include morning tea. Should you wish to bring a 2nd attendee to this workshop, we are happy to offer a 50% discount i.e. $125 per additional person.Feedback gained from these sessions will help inform the future of regular workshops in terms of location, content and timing.

Note: To maximise the session outcomes, please ensure all attendees bring a laptop and have Administrator rights to your school's Sentral.
