Australian Plant Communities - Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha

Join us for a family-friendly celebration of the eucalypt - one of our national botanic treasures. Learn more about our magnificent gum species and the amazing wildlife they support.There are talks, guided walks, workshops and activities for both kids and adults - try some gum leaf and nut art and craft; taste-test gum leaf tea (and other bush brews) and species-specific eucalypt honey; follow our gum tree story trail; learn which gums are best for your backyard; and enjoy tapping your feet to the tunes of the shipwrecked Salty Sirens… we have a range of activities for all the family to enjoy!Search 'Gumfest' in eventbrite to find other listings for specific talks and workshops happening on the day.Tasty snacks and cold drinks will be available for purchase up at the festival site. Please wear a hat and covered shoes.This event will be held at the Australian Plant Communities section of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha. You can walk or take the shuttle bus to from the Visitor Information Centre.
