5 week MEDITATION course in PORT MELBOURNE starting on 6 February (Tuesday) at 6pm.

- Tuesday 27 February 6pm-8pm
- Tuesday 6 March 6pm-8pm

COURSE STRUCTURE:

Each week will include introduction to a topic, a meditation technique and 1 or 2 guided meditations.

Week 1:
- Introduction to meditation
- Practicing awareness
- The 7 attitudes of mindfulness
- Guided meditation on breath

Week 2:
- Mindfulness of body & breath
- Body scan meditation

Week 3:
- Cultivating mental focus and mental clarity
- Unskillful vs skillful thinking
- Guided meditation on thoughts

Week 4:
- Accessing inner peace
- Mindfulness of emotions
- Cultivating compassion
- Guided meditation on loving kindness

Week 5:
- Integration & 3 step meditation
- Visualisation meditation & self-healing

Weekly handouts and homework will be included to help you integrate the techniques into your daily life.

Time commitment: 5 x 2 hour group sessions plus 20-30 minutes per day of 'formal' meditation practice at home.
