Stories make you, make sense.Got something important to share, but aren&#x27;t sure how to share it well? Perhaps you&#x27;ve tried before but felt like no one was listening. Maybe you know you need to share more stories if you want to make real change in your community or organisation, but don&#x27;t know where to start?Well, welcome! This 3hr workshop is where that change begins.While most of us have systems in place to collect data to support our projects or ideas, very few of us have systems in place to collect the stories that bring this data to life. Without the stories, it’s almost impossible for others to make sense of, or care about, what we do, what we know and who we are.This online masterclass will change that. Over three hours, Storytelling expert Penny Terry takes you through four modules that will change the way you share your knowledge to make sure it’s heard, remembered and valued.1. Storytelling Science: Understand the science of storytelling, and how and when to use it to your advantage. 2. Storytelling skills: Learn a storytelling structure and simple techniques to share powerful stories in conversations, presentations and reports. 3. Collecting stories: Set up a system to find and store stories every day, creating a storytelling habit. 4. Build a playlist of stories: Start crafting and collecting powerful stories that you can use straight away.BIO: Penny Terry helps people see and share their impact. She knows good stories are the quickest and most effective way to make people care about who you are, what you do and why it’s important. She&#x27;s spent 10 years as an ABC radio presenter, has created three award-winning podcasts, and has helped more than 20,000 people share their messages in the media, on stage and during important conversations. She has a real knack for helping people feel heard, allowing them to confidently share their perspectives, stories and experiences in a way that makes others take notice and make change happen. Penny&#x27;s developed a purpose-built process to help build the skills and confidence people need to leverage their knowledge for better outcomes. She now works with leaders and organisations to increase the impact of every conversation, so they spend less time talking about their great ideas and more time creating great outcomes.
