Families Tasmania, formerly the Child Health Association Tasmania (CHAT), is a not-for-profit organisation that supports Tasmanian families to build healthy lives through advocacy, education, community connections and support programs. We offer evidence-based parenting programs and workshops, provide safe online platforms to foster connections, develop fun and engaging resources, deliver outreach programs and coordinate events across Tasmania.

Baby + Child First Aid Tas Educator, Sharon Rootes is happy to partner with Families Tasmania to bring you our next community session.During the session you will learn information on children&#x27;s health, first aid, and safety in a warm and friendly environment. The session aims to help you feel more confident and prepared in handling common childhood health issues and knowing what to do in an emergency.Babes-in-arms welcome, please make alternative arrangements for older children.Baby + Child First Aid Tas sessions are brought to you by qualified health professionals who are trained to provide information to parents and families in accordance with current recommendations and guidelines from reliable sources including the Australian Resuscitation Council, Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, the Asthma Foundation and Red Nose to name a few.This session is provided with thanks to funding from the Tasmanian Government.
