Enjoy a beautiful walk along the Hunter River and look for common and rare birds with expert bird watchers from Hunter Bird Observer's Club.

Join us at Maitland library and learn more about the birds in your local area. Expert bird watchers from the Hunter Bird Observer’s Group will guide a beautiful walk around the Hunter River as we look for both common and rare river birds. Cool off after this wonderful morning with some fun bird crafts at Maitland Library.*Please bring your own binoculars. Some binoculars will be available for use on the day. There will be a short morning tea break during the walk, participants are encouraged to bring a drink and snack. Bookings required. Family-friendly event for children and their parents/carers.
