The gallery is renowned for its special holdings of works on paper and also holds important historical works that capture the Mornington Peninsula region.M﻿PRG hosts a range of speical events and workshops for young creatives right through to adults. The Young at Art program introduces toddlers to the world of art. The gallery also hosts school holiday workshops and education programs. VCE Art Creative Practice & Art Making and Exhibiting workshop with renowned Australian contemporary artist Vera Moller.

We are very excited to offer you this exclusive opportunity!Vera Moller explains:My workshop aims to encourage students to develop their own work with enthusiasm and to assist them in sharpening their conceptual and technical skills.In my own practice I emphasise the importance of strong concept development and rely on creative experimentation with a range of diverse media.Through using examples of my own work during the workshop I will demonstrate how to create small objects/ sculptural work and discuss their arrangements in various installation formats. I will introduce various approaches to creating collages and other works on or with paper. I will discuss and demonstrate my painting methodology, as well as approaches to installation and display.Maximum participants 10Cost $25BYO visual diary all other materials provided
