“This week we will cover some basics of game mechanics and making a game within the Unity game engine. We will touch on animation, audio and a little bit of programming.We will create interactions and controls and utilise premade assets to create a stylised micro game.Experience is not necessary for this workshop. A modern windows or mac laptop will be required to run the software, also bring a mouse and charger. If you don&#x27;t have a suitable laptop, please get in contact and we can arrange one of them for you (these are limited, so register early). Please bring a USB flash drive with you (4gb is big enough)”<ul><li>A light meal is provided at this free event.</li></ul>During fortnightly workshops over 6 months, the Creative Digital Media Club will bring together a group of aspiring creatives focused on the digital creative industries. The goal is to create a thriving community of digital creatives and kickstart this industry in the New England area!This event is proudly funded by NSW and Commonwealth Government through a BCRRF grant and delivered by the UNE SMART Region Incubator.
