The Fillmores 'Makey Sensey' Album Launch w/ Muma Ganoush + Kosmetika

Hailing from Apollo Bay (Gadubanud Country) and based in Naarm (Melbourne), The Fillmores are a six-piece rock n roll outfit led by dual songwriters and brothers Jack and Seamus Fillmore. Inspired by the likes of The Go Betweens, Talking Heads, ESG and Dick Diver, their eclectic sound is built on jangling guitars, pulsing rhythms, soaring violin and keys, and sweet occa harmonies. One month on from the release of their debut album &#x27;Makey Sensey&#x27;, The Fillmores are taking over The Retreat bandroom to bring the album to life with a host of special guests.Joining the festivities are odd-ball psych-pop extraordinaries Muma Ganoush and DIY kraut-pop machine Kosmetika.T﻿ickets are $20.The Retreat Hotel would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which The Retreat now stands, and pay our respects to all elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and that our venue operates on stolen land.
