Wadjar Regional Indigenous Gallery is a hub of First Nations Culture and Art from the Mid North Coast of NSW.Situated in the pristine coastal bushlands of the Northern Lowlands of Gumbaynggirr Nation, Yarrawarra represents a range of talented  Indigenous Artists who share their skills and knowledge with the public through our  Cultural Events, School Holiday Activities, Art and Craft Worksops and our Bush Medicine and Historical Site Tours.At Yarrawarra we love nothing more than bringing people together to celebrate and share the Art, Culture, History and Values of Gumbaynggirr People."Yarrawarra means Happy Meeting Place in Gumbaynggirr Language, and you can really feel it when you come out here under the big gum trees. Come and craft with us to create some little Golden Tipped Bats for the Upcoming Exhibition

Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre

Giinagay Nujawiny!We&#x27;re gonna craft some little Bats to install in the upcoming Exhibition around the community project we&#x27;ve been running to recreate woven roosts for this tiny micro-bat to live in after so many of the roosts were destroyed in the firesWe&#x27;ll be using fluffy possum tails, paper and wire to create a little colony of micro-bats to hang throughout the exhibition which will be opening on December 10 of this year, and maybe a couple of orb weaver spiders to string up too, considering that they&#x27;re 90% of the bats diet and just beautifully creepy &lt;3This community crafter-noon is a free event for the community and we will be supplying tea and coffee and afternoon tea for everyoneCome along and join in the fun!
