Crazy Might Work launched on a Russian icebreaker in Antarctica in 2015 with a mission to equip leaders with the skills and tools for breakthrough transformation. We have worked with leaders in spaces ranging from aged care and intensive care to space itself.  Our Leading4Breakthrough program draws on the 4-D program used by NASA to create  the social context required for high performing teams.Crazy Might Work is known for pushing the boundaries of what is possible, with pragmatism, originality and humour. Our DisruptivebyDesign® program draws on over 100 years of insight research and incorporates practices from the disciplines of appreciative inquiry, cognitive and social neuroscience, systems and design thinking, aeronautical engineering and even game design to deliver breakthrough thinking and innovation. NASA 4-D Online Program in 2023

The NASA 4-Dimensional (4-D) system equips leaders with the tools and behaviours that translate social neuroscience into high-performing teams. Join one of our public online programs in 2023. Eight 90 minute sessions on consecutive Thursdays.

<h1>What is it?</h1><p>The explosion of<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUqPMMgfJ4Q&amp;list=WL&amp;index=1" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Space Shuttle Challenger </a>rocked the world.  The 7 astronaut fatalities led to senate inquiries and, ultimately, the revelation that it was social context, not technical abilities, that led to this and other failures. The 4-Dimensional teams system was developed to address back-to-back Mars mission failures and is designed to foster 8 key behaviours that have transformed life at NASA.</p><h2>Benchmark Against NASA</h2><p>The 4-D program will enable you to benchmark your own team against the 1,500 NASA project and engineering teams (consisting of astronauts, scientists, engineers and managers) that have already completed the program.</p>

<h1>Facilitators</h1><h3>Paul Hawkins, Chief Combobulator</h3><p>Paul is the Chief Combobulator Crazy Might Work, an award-winning, for-purpose innovation agency, launched in Antarctica.  The firm works with leaders to create high-performing teams, transform culture and innovate for impact. Their clients and partners number amongst the most innovative and progressive organisations in the world, operating in spaces ranging from intensive care to space itself. Paul has worked in over 20 countries and consults to governments, states and multinationals on breakthrough thinking.  He has an HDE in education, an MBA from Oxford Brookes University, and an in-progress doctorate in breakthrough innovation. He has trained in innovation and neuroscience through Stanford University and the Neuro-Leadership Institute and is a facilitator of the 4-D program used by NASA.

<h3>Melanie Farmer, Concierge of Co-Creation</h3><p>With a Bachelor degree in Education and a Masters in Marketing Innovation, Melanie has built innovative businesses in Australia, Singapore, the UAE and the UK. She has worked in senior innovation and commercialisation roles in UK and Australian universities serving the research needs of partners across a wide range of disciplines, ranging from agriculture to space. </p><p>She has earned recognition for innovation in cultural turnaround, customer service, sales and operations and has lectured and mentored on these subjects. </p><p>When it comes to facilitation, Melanie doesn’t mind a bit of drama and landed several stage roles in London in a prior life. Her latest passion is biomimicry (emulating nature’s genius) where she has embarked on a Masters with Arizona State University.</p>
