Honouring the contribution of Sir Roland Wilson, the Foundation brings together The Australian National University, Charles Darwin University, the Australian Public Service and their partners to build research-informed public policy capability and leadership through inclusive post-graduate scholarships and linked activities.

This year the Wilson Dialogue will examine calls to better utilise diplomacy to support our national interests and shape the world we want to see. With Australia’s strategic environment deteriorating rapidly, are current actions enough to address the challenges we are facing? How can Australia expand its influence and prevent conflict? Do we have the national capability to build economic resilience and recovery in our region?Hear from the Hon Tim Watts MP, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the complex challenges and what it will take to build a safe, resilient and sustainable Australia and Indo-Pacific.Following his keynote, Assistant Minister Watts will join Ms Zoe Daniel MP, Independent Member for Goldstein and Ms Susannah Patton, Director of the Southeast Asia Program at Lowy Institute in a panel discussion.
