The Canada Club of Victoria (CCV) is a volunteer run social club for Canadians, and those with strong ties to Canada, living in Melbourne Australia and regional Victoria. It is our mission to bring a little bit of Canadiana to the area.The CCV executive run a number of events each year including – Canada Day and Thanksgiving.  We also offer a number of smaller social events for families and individuals to network and discuss all things Canada. Please see our events section for a list of upcoming events and how to register.The club’s origins date back to 1940 with the formation of the Canadian Women's Club of Victoria to help Canadian women in Melbourne who found it difficult being so far away from Canada. Soon after, the Canadian Men’s Club was formed with a focus on business relationships between Canada and Australia.  In 1981, these two clubs amalgamated into the present Canada Club of Victoria.Please note that the Canada Club of Victoria does not comment on or provide advice relating to immigration matters. A Thanksgiving turkey lunch including pumpkin pie!We will be returning to the Green Acres Golf Club in Kew for our flagship event, Thanksgiving. Prior to lunch we will hold the AGM for the club. Please consider volunteering for the committee.
