It is gathering of women at dark or new moon reclaiming their sacred feminine expression

The The Red Tent is a lunar gathering for women every new moon. A new moon represents the death of our previous lunar &amp;/or menstrual cycle but also the beginning of a new one. It is a time when we are most in need of rest, reflection and support away from our everyday lives, so we can rejuvenate, rebirth and re-enter the world with our own cup full before we tend to those around us again. The Red Tent is a place to learn about the feminine mysteries and gain deep reverence and understanding of yourself as a women. It is a gathering to awaken a woman’s inner knowing and what is means to be a cyclic being. When the moon is dark in the sky the shadow side of self begins to show. It is also often the time most women have their bleed “moon time”. This is why dark/new moon is a time we feel more vulnerable, inward and our insecurities come to the surface. Therefore, The Red Tent is an opportunity to meet with our shadow side, to accept, heal grow &amp; support ourselves as well as the other sisters we meet in circle. Women have gathered on lunar events since the beginning of time. This age-old tradition is essential for building sisterhood, community &amp; empowering one’s feminine sense of self. When we lean on each other as sisters in circle it takes pressure off those around us to always be our emotional support.It is also a time we are open more psychically so we can hone our mystical gifts, strengthen our intuition and understand what it means to be a Womban. We will learn about the effects of the lunar and seasonal cycles on women’s emotions, energy levels and psychological wellbeing, as well as how to balance those cycles for greater harmony.All women truly welcomed in this space. There is so much wisdom to be embodied from our elders and so much joy &amp; playfulness inspired by our youth. My wish is to build a community of diverse women who choose to gather together every new moon to honour, inspire, support, heal, share, empower and hold each other through life&#x27;s ebbs and flows.Some moons we will have a main topic of discussion and guest speakers sharing their wisdom and practices with us. Other moons we will just be there to gather and share about the past lunar cycle, all in the name of sisterhood. Each circle we will journey through practices relating to our monthly theme.
