WESA Open Day

The Western Electric Soprting Association (WESA) is the peak body for Powerchair Sport in Western Australia.It is a non-profit organisation run by a community of volunteers dedicated to providing sporting opportunities for electric wheelchair users.WESA coordinates local leagues of Powerchair Hockey and Powerchair Football, and is represented at National Competitions in both sporting codes by its State Team, the Western Wasps.

Loftus 24/7 Gym & Recreation Centre

The Western Electric Sporting Association (WESA) would like to invite all players, supporters, sponsors, and other interested people down to celebrate powerchair sports! Demonstrations of both powerchair hockey and powerchair football will be held throughout the event.Where? Courts 2 and 3, Loftus Recreation Centre (99 Loftus Street, Leederville, WA, 6007).When: 10:30am to 12:30pm Saturday 1st October 2022Getting to the venue: Parking is available onsite (free for the first two hours), while the Loftus Recreation Centre is also a short 12-minute walk from the Leederville Train Station. The day starts at 10:30am with a welcome from our President, Jack O&#x27;Keeffe, and concludes at 12:30pm.Registration is essential so please be sure to register for your free ticket!The full schedule will be as follows:10:30am - Presidents Welcome10:40am - Powerchair Hockey demonstration and have a go11:20am - Networking and Powerchair Football setup11:40am - Powerchair Football demonstration and have a go12:20pm - Formal conclusion of event
