Canberra Raiders 40 Year Anniversary Celebration & 2022 Season Launch

In light of the current COVID-19 situation across Australia, and to most effectively ensure that our NRL Squad and Club personnel are best prepared for the upcoming season, the Canberra Raiders are disappointed to advise that the Community Season Launch Event set for 19 February 2022 has been cancelled.

Our intention was to announce our 40th Anniversary Season in bold fashion, with a mass participation ‘all-stakeholder’ event at Thoroughbred Park, however the ongoing uncertainty with COVID-19 virus (and NRL Apollo Protocols in effect) have prevented this from occurring.

All tickets that have been purchased for this event will be refunded via Eventbrite within seven (7) business days.

The Canberra Raiders will now move to launch our season online in early March 2022, and we will deliver an audio visual package that can be enjoyed by past, current and future members, sponsors and fans of our Club.

Please join the Canberra Raiders in celebrating the launch of their 40th Anniversary and the 2022 Season. The event will take place exactly forty years on from the Raiders first Season Launch Luncheon on the 19th of February 1982.

Join us as we take a trip down memory lane as we celebrate and reflect on 40 years of the Raiders. The event will include four new Hall of Fame inductions, announcement of the club's 2022 Jersey Sponsors and presentation of the 2022 Canberra Raiders NRL Squad.

Gates will open to the public from 3:00pm, with an array of family-friendly attractions, stalls and entertainment across the venue.

Tickets on sale 2:00pm Monday 20 December 2021.

Price: $20 (+ Eventbrite fee) per person.

Children under 5 years old enter free (no ticket required)**.

2022 Canberra Raiders Members enter free! Select "Tickets", then select "Enter promo code" and enter your member number (account ID) to redeem your ticket/s. Please see FAQ's here if you are having trouble entering your code.

Parking is available at Thoroughbred Park off Randwick Road (until allocation exhausted). Attendees are also encouraged to use the Light Rail as a form of transport to the event, with the nearest station (EPIC & Racecourse Stop) within walking distance.

In the event of wet weather, some tickets may be refunded to meet indoor capacity restrictions.
