3hr Skate Workshop - School Holiday Activity for Beginners / Intermediate

Get ready to shred at Skateology's School Holiday Skate Sessions, 3 hours of skate skills, tricks, tips & loads of fun! Suits 5-13 yr olds.

Keep your kids active this school holidays! Join us to have fun, learn to skate and increase skateboarding skills with coaching by former Australian vert champion and ex pro skateboarder, Adam Luxford!

• Three hours jam packed with skateboarding fun for beginner & intermediate skaters.
• We adapt the coaching to suit your individual skill level.
• Junior sessions - 5-13 year olds.
• Small groups, limited spaces per session.
• Indoor all weather venue.
• Skateboards, helmets and safety gear available to use, or bring your own.
• Bring your mates and shred together, kids of all ages and abilities welcome!
• Please bring along a snack and drink for a short mid-session break.

If you are a first time participant in Skateology's skateboarding activities, please complete our registration/parental consent/waiver form (or parent/guardian to complete if participant is under 18 years of age) - you can email your completed form to info@skateology.com.au or bring with you on the day.

AGENDA FOR THREE HOUR SCHOOL HOLIDAYS SKATEBOARDING WORKSHOPS

Morning Sessions 9.30AM - 12.30PM OR Afternoon Sessions 1.30PM-4.30PM available!

1. (10 Minutes) Arrive, check in and put on your safety gear ready for session
   
2. (1 hour & 10 Minutes) Skateboarding workshop - FIRST HALF
   Intro to skateboarding, skateboarding safety induction, skateboarding fundamentals, skateboarding tips and tricks for beginners, skateboard themed games, intro to street and half pipe riding, intermediate trick instruction, professional demonstrations, skateboarding tips and tricks for intermediate skaters, time to practice skills learnt on ramps, tailored to individual skill level.
   
3. (30 Minutes) Mid session break - Snack/Drink - Skateboard themed ART session
   This school holiday we have two choices for our Skate Art activity. Option 1: We will be designing and applying skate deck art onto finger skateboards, using Posca style paint pens. You then get to take home your new finger skateboard!! Fingerboard is included in the price of your ticket. Option 2: We have a huge selection of fun skateboard themed images for you to decorate with Posca style paint pens, which we will then frame and you can take them home at the end of the session to display in your home. Image & Frame included in price of your ticket.
   
4. (1 hour & 10 minutes) Skateboarding workshop - SECOND HALF
