<p>I would be delighted to have you visit my upcoming</p><h2>Valleys Views and Vines | Solo Exhibition </h2><h3>by Artist Sylvie Carter</h3><h3>Exhibition runs 1 - 22 October 2022</h3><h3>Gallery hours: Wednesday to Saturday 10am - 4pm </h3><p>Sponsored by the QPRC Cultural Grants 2022 and part of the Queanbeyan-Palerang 2022 Arts Trail.</p><p><strong>About the Exhibition:</strong></p><p>My exhibition includes over forty oil, watercolour and mixed media paintings, capturing the light and story of the valleys, views and vineyards in this region, on Ngunnawal, Ngambri and Yuin country, of South Eastern Australia. The exhibition features paintings of wild grasses, deep valleys, local vineyards, shadows and reflections, and the rhythmic land formations. </p><p>Throughout the duration of the exhibition, I will also be offering a short documentary film and talks and painting demonstrations each Saturday during the exhibition, between 1- 3pm except the final weekend AND between 11 and 2pm on Wednesdays  5, 12 and 19 October 2022.</p><p><strong>This Exhibition is sponsored by QPRC Cultural Grants and will be part of the 2022 Arts Trail.</strong></p><p><strong>About The Artist</strong></p><p>Sylvie Carter is a full-time contemporary artist based in rural NSW and recent finalist in the Gallipoli Art Prize 2022.  Her style is described as instinctive and representational, being inspired by the impressionists and Dutch Masters. Sylvie grew up living in Canberra and then later in the bush and this has instilled in her a deep sense of respect for all nature, its beauty and unpredictability. </p><p>For all other questions please email: sylviecarter1@gmail.com or M. 0407906036.   </p>

<p><strong>About Rusten House</strong></p><p>Rusten House Art Centre is an 1861 NSW Heritage listed building, renovated for reuse as a gallery and workshop facility.
