South Eastern Community Connect (SECC) is a community centre just for YOU.We run Supported Playgroups in a big, friendly hall opposite Mascot Memorial Park.We also host groups in Kensington Park, Zetland and Eastlakes.We also host courses to help parents, as well as programs for people from all walks of life.Our services are available toallpeople in the LGAs of Botany Bay, Port Botany, Mascot, Randwick, Woollahra, Waverley, and City of Sydney.SECC is managed by a voluntary board of directors made up of local community members and services. Enjoy making art? Want to meet likeminded people? If you answered yes you might want to join our Social Painting group on Friday mornings.Sessions take place every Friday (during school terms) between 10am and 12pm.Each session is only $2 (to be paid when you attend)All levels are welcome to join in but please note there is no teacher.Bookings are welcome but not required.Please note that this is more of a social group, not a classY﻿ou will need to bring your own materials including paints, canvases and anything you&#x27;d like to use______________________________________________________________________________South Eastern Community Connect Frequently Asked QuestionsHow will I be informed if a session or program is cancelled? If you have booked for a program, you will be contacted via phone or email prior to the start time. How can I get a refund? If you can no longer attend the program, you can cancel your ticket via Eventbrite. If you do this before the program start time you will be given a refund by us using Eventbrite. We can’t offer refunds if you cancel after the session has started.How can I find out more about SECC Programs? Please allow 5 minutes to complete the form.Will there be toilet facilities available? Yes, there are toilets available including an accessible bathroom.Is the location accessible? Yes, there is a ramp at the main entrance of the location.Do I need to book online for programs, or can I just turn up? We encourage you to book <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/south-eastern-community-connect-secc-17954131282" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">online</a>. If you are having trouble doing this, contact us for assistance on 02 7903 0607. You may drop in without a booking for certain programs including Tai Chi, Movement for Wellbeing, Social Art Space and Social Painting.Is there parking available nearby? There is plenty of on-street parking available on Coward and Rawson Streets. There is also parking available out the front on Botany Road until 3pm Monday to Friday.Do you have holiday programs? All our programs operate on a termly basis and don’t take place during the school holidays.Can I attend programs if I am located outside of the LGAs you service? Unfortunately, our programs are only offered to residents located in the following Local Government Areas (LGAs): City of Sydney, Randwick, Waverley, Woollahra and Bayside. How can I get to you using public transport? The following buses stop within a short walking distance from the hub (10 minutes or less): 350, 420, 358, 303, 307, 343. Mascot is the closest train station to SECC: This station is on the T8 and T3 lines. It is about a 15-minute walk to the Hub from there.When will the doors open/close for evening classes after 4pm? The Hub closes at 4pm Monday to Friday. For evening groups, the doors will open again 15 minutes before the start time and close 15 minutes after the start time.How can I pay? You will need to pay online for Playgroups prior to attending. For other paid programs you can pay when you arrive, either in cash or using our card machine.
