BCNA is holding an Information Forum for people living with early breast cancer and their supporters. 

Hear from medical oncologist and supportive care physician Dr Ben Forster on the latest in treatment and care, and oncology senior social worker Dr Carrie Lethborg on managing the challenges of living with breast cancer. 

To attend this event, you must be double vaccinated and show your vaccination certificate upon arrival. Event details Date: Wednesday 22 June 2022 Time: 9.00am for 9.30am start – 3.30pm Location: Launceston Conference Centre, 50 Glen Dhu Street, South Launceston Is it safe to attend BCNA’s Information Forum? Ultimately the decision about whether you feel comfortable attending the forum is yours. BCNA has a COVID-Safe Policy for its Information Forums and is taking every possible step to protect you while continuing to provide much needed breast cancer information and support. Our policy includes: <ul><li>The COVID-Safe protocols of the Information Forum venue will be followed.</li><li>All BCNA representatives, staff and event attendees must be double vaccinated and provide proof of double vaccination to the allocated BCNA staff member upon arrival.</li><li>All BCNA representatives, staff and event attendees who feel unwell on the day of the forum are instructed to stay at home. An on-demand link to watch the Information Forum will be available for those who cannot attend.</li><li>All BCNA staff attending are required to undertake a negative Rapid Antigen Test prior to the event.</li><li>All event staff, speakers and event attendees are encouraged to take a Rapid Antigen Test prior to the event; however, it will be at the expense of the person doing the test and will be the decision of each individual as to whether they test or not. </li><li>All BCNA staff attending are required to wear a mask for the duration of the event.</li><li>All event staff, speakers and event attendees to be in possession of a mask at the Information Forum and masks will be available to those who attend; however, it will be the decision of each individual as to whether they wear the mask or not.</li><li>All BCNA representatives, staff and event attendees should undertake physical distancing where possible.</li><li>Chairs will be placed apart where possible.</li><li>Hand sanitising stations will be available throughout the venue.</li><li>Disinfectant wipes will be provided, and venue staff will ensure all surfaces are regularly cleaned.</li><li>Designated COVID-Safe Officers who are responsible for ensuring the COVID-safe policy guidelines are adhered to will be present at the event.</li></ul>A note about privacyBreast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the personal information that we hold.
