About this event

During the workshop you will be guided how to create a mug or plate using the pinch pot method. You will have opportunities to learn different clay moulding techniques to decorate and personalise your own ceramic mug or plate. We will also have a guest from the kitchen garden who will bring leaves, twigs and other fun things to imprint your ceramics with.

All materials will be provided by ANU Thrive for the workshop, but attendees must wear enclosed shoes and a mask.

At the end of the class, you will have a mug or plate created by you which will be fired and glazed and will then be ready for pickup at a future date. As it takes time for the clay to dry, fire and glaze there will be about a 2 month wait time until pick up.

Masks will be required during this event. If you are COVID-19 positive, have any COVID-19 symptoms, or are considered a close contact do not attend.
