The STRENGTHS team will be facilitating a practical workshop for Defence dads in Townsville.  
This is a powerful and life changing workshop

NOTE: This event is only for Australian Defence Force families. DMFS Townsville has engaged the STRENGTHS team, based in Cairns, to facilitate a practical workshop for Defence dads.The workshop is designed to provide fathers/father figures with practical skills and mentoring to empower them to be strong role models, and to help them feel more connected and engaged within their family unit.The focus of the STRENGTHS program is self-care, emotional intelligence, how to relate, meaningful conversations, what is quality time, overcoming the past and more. The topic of the workshop is ‘The impact of fathers and men and the wounds we carry and create in our families and friends.’ The take-away will be realistic solutions and tools our men can use in their everyday lives.The workshop is being held at the Harry Cobby Centre, RAAF Base Townsville. Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.The workshop is open to male Defence personnel (any rank), male APS staff and male spouses – however participants must be able to access RAAF Base Townsville.
