ANSTO Mission to Space (Lego EV3 Beginners) Workshop

Home to over 300 scientists and researchers, ANSTO is home to some of Australia’s most critical scientific infrastructure including the nation’s only research reactor, a suite of neutron beam instruments, particular accelerators, cyclotrons and the Australian Synchrotron. These instruments are helping to address health issues, climate change and develop new innovations to support Australian industry.

In this top secret mission, you program your EV3 to complete several space challenges

ANSTO Discovery Centre  

For ages 9-14 years or students with WeDo experience In this top secret mission, you program your EV3  to complete several space challenges. As this is a beginners’ course, our facilitator can adjust the programming from simple to advance throughout the day. Cost:      $75In this full day workshop, you will build and program LEGO robots to solve actual space exploration challenges. All workshops are delivered by accredited educators with experience in science, engineering, programming and robotics. The recommended minimum age is 9 years. Younger children are encouraged to consider the LEGO WeDo Robotics workshop. Please call the Discovery Centre on 9717 3090 if you have questions on suitability. Please bring food, drinks and a hat for morning tea and lunch breaks. Workshops starts at 9:30 please arrive at 9:15 at the ANSTO Discovery Centre.
