2022 Small Business Support Program
The 2022 Small Business Support Program is designed to help businesses survive the immediate impact of the Omicron COVID-19 strain. It is for the month of February only.
•	Eligible employing businesses and not-for-profit organisations will receive 20% of their weekly payroll as a lump sum for the month of February, with a minimum payment of $750 per week and a maximum payment of $5,000 per week.
•	Non-employing businesses will receive $500 per week, paid as a lump sum of $2,000.
•	Businesses with a turnover of between $75,000 and $50 million that experienced a minimum 40% decline in turnover in January 2022, and in the first fortnight of February 2022, will be eligible to apply.
Storm and Flood Recovery Assistance Grant
If you were affected by flooding in NSW from November 2021, but are not in an eligible local government area for recovery assistance, a Business Concierge can notify you when new support becomes available. Register for a call back.
If you were affected by the storms and floods in February 2021 to April 2021 you may be eligible for the flood disaster recovery small business grant. Applications for this grant are open until 18 March 2022.

Small business fees and charges rebate
As part of the NSW Government’s COVID-19 stimulus and recovery plan, small businesses, sole traders and not-for-profit organisations may apply for a rebate to help pay for government fees and charges.
In late March, the rebate will increase from $2,000 to $3,000 and eligible employing businesses will be able to use the rebate against 50% of the cost of rapid antigen tests.
The rebate is available until 30 June 2022. 
Dine &amp; Discover NSW vouchers scheme
The NSW Government&#x27;s Dine &amp; Discover vouchers scheme supports hospitality, arts and tourism businesses. 
NSW residents can apply for 6 x $25 vouchers, worth $150 in total. They can be used for:
•	dining in at restaurants, cafes, bars, wineries, pubs and clubs
•	takeaway meals
•	entertainment and recreation, including cultural institutions, live music and arts venues.
Vouchers are valid until June 2022. 
Stay NSW voucher scheme
Stay NSW Vouchers will help support accommodation providers in NSW impacted by COVID-19.
From February 2022, NSW residents aged 18 and over will be able to apply for 1 x $50 voucher to use towards the cost of accommodation bookings. 
Alfresco Restart rebate
Registration for the $5,000 Alfresco Restart rebate is now open. The first 5,000 eligible small or medium food and beverage businesses that register can use the rebate to help create or expand their outdoor dining areas.
From late February, registered businesses will be able to claim the rebate for eligible expenses incurred between 14 October 2021 to 30 April 2022.
SafeWork small business rebate
If you are a NSW small business owner or sole trader who completed an approved event with SafeWork after 1 August 2019, you may be eligible for a SafeWork small business rebate of up to $1,000 on the cost of equipment that makes your workplace safer.
Jobs Plus program
The Jobs Plus program provides support to Australian and international businesses that want to start or expand their operations in NSW. Program support will help reduce the costs and financial risks of growing a business or moving its operations to NSW.
To be eligible for the program, Australian businesses must currently employ at least 20 workers and overseas businesses must employ at least 80 workers.
All businesses must be able to create at least 30 net new full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs in NSW before 30 June 2024. Further conditions apply.
Export assistance grant
An export assistance grant of up to $10,000 is available to eligible NSW businesses impacted by COVID-19, bushfires or drought, to help your business access new global markets or re-enter old ones. 
Eligible exporting businesses can apply for 50% reimbursement of certain export-enabling expenses, such as marketing and e-commerce, for expenses already paid since 1 January 2020. 
Small and medium enterprise (SME) guarantee scheme
The Australian Government&#x27;s small and medium enterprise (SME) guarantee scheme has been expanded to 30 June 2022.
Phase 3 of the scheme guaranteed 80% of the value of eligible business loans approved by 31 December 2021 to SMEs impacted by COVID-19. Under the 2022 scheme, loans are available from 1 January to 30 June 2022, with a government guarantee of 50%.
