You are invited to attend a morning tea at 9.30 am, before the workshop begins. This is to celebrate the launch of the third edition of Communicate Clearly, the plain English publication by 26Ten.


Join us for an interactive workshop focused on using Plain English in everyday documents and learn how to make information easier to understand.


Information that isn’t presented clearly creates confusion and can lead to misunderstandings, missed opportunities and mistakes. Learn how to make information easier to understand in this practical plain English workshop.


Suitable for businesses, community groups and individuals. Join us for an interactive session focused on using plain English in everyday documents, emails, flyers and marketing material and learn how to make your information easier to understand. Participants are encouraged to bring samples of their own work as they analyse and practise writing information clearly.


Plain English is a way of presenting information that helps people Find what they need easily, Understand what they find, and Use that information


You will learn how to:

  • Get your message across loud and CLEAR
  • Reduce jargon and simplify your communication
  • Write clear emails
  • Make a positive difference to your business or organisation


To ensure a successful event, please:

  • Don't attend if you are unwell
  • Let us know if you can’t attend so we can offer your place to someone else
  • Practice COVID safe behaviours
  • Let us know if you have any support needs, or if a support person will be coming with you.

  • There are two designated mobility parking spaces next to the library, with a 2-hour parking limit.
