Come and join us for the next Lismore, Casino &amp; Kyogle Clinical Society, which will be held virtually for COVID safety. As voted by you, this society meeting will focus on &quot;drug and substance use&quot; and the way in which clinicians can recognise the relationships between mental health and substance use disorders. Learn more about local drug usage and clinical cues and screening, examine local referral options, and discover online resources that can help you in your clinical work regarding drug and substance use.




Learning objectives<ul><li>Identify the predisposing factors for the development of substance use disorders and the models that can be used to identify and target these factors  
</li><li>
Recognise the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders  
</li><li>
Gain an understanding of some commonly used assessment tools and instruments including the principles of Motivational Interviewing  
</li><li>
Learn more about referral services available, including outpatient, inpatient detox and rehab (public and private) and options for young people  
</li></ul>
