PRINT STITCH BIND

Take time out to learn something new and exciting! Botanical printing is a way to transfer and preserve  leaf patterns on cloth and paper, use mark making and stitch to add depth to a botanically printed fabric, create bookcloth and bind a unique journal.

Take a day off, relax and give yourself permission to enjoy and learn. Immerse yourself in slow stitching techniques along with mark making to enrich a piece of botanically printed cloth or paper. 
Spend time contemplating nature, appreciating the moment and the process of stitching for stitching’s sake while using your needle to create just as you would with paint or pencil to enhance a botanically printed piece of cotton. 
Morning and afternoon tea supplied, students need to BYO lunch. 
Papers and cloth supplied along with workshop notes and most other requirements.
