PRINT STITCH BIND

Take time out to learn something new and exciting! Botanical printing is a way to transfer and preserve  leaf patterns on cloth and paper, use mark making and stitch to add depth to a botanically printed fabric, create bookcloth and bind a unique journal.

Start the day with a walk along Narrogin Creek collecting leaves with tutors Annette Nykiel and Dianne Strahan. Explore basic mordanting, paper cutting and mark making techniques. This will give you the knowledge and confidence to create your beautiful botanical prints on paper and cotton. Take home two pieces of botanically printed cloth plus enough printed papers to create your own book. 
Morning and afternoon tea supplied, students need to BYO lunch. 
Papers and cloth supplied along with workshop notes and most other requirements.
