Know Yourself, Show Yourself, Grow Yourself

Know Yourself, Grow Yourself, Show Yourself is a mental health festival by the people, for the people. The festival will run at Sunshine Heights PS from Monday 21st March to Friday 25th March 2022 with a full, exciting program of events.

​Literature is the perfect way to explore concepts and themes around mental health and wellbeing. Join in this very special book club facilitated by Chestnut Tree Bookshop, where adults will connect with themselves and one another as they dive into the intriguingly dark and tender, Small Joys of Real Life by Allee RichardsSmall Joys of Real Life is a poignant and unpredictable novel from an exciting new literary talent about how the life you have can change in an instant. It&#x27;s about friendship, desire, loss and growing up to accept that all you can do is be in the moment and look to find the joys in between.&#x27;It&#x27;s the little bursts of good in what could be described as a modern-millennial tragedy that makes Allee Richards&#x27; debut novel the poignant work that it is&#x27; The GuardianIt is preferred that adults attending have read the book prior to the book club session, however, if you are unable to and feel like coming along to listen to and contribute to discussions all the same, please do.
