24 Oct 2026 Breastfeeding Education Class - Darwin/Palm/Rural
Questions about breastfeeding and early parenting? Join us to learn the basics and ways to manage life changes in those early weeks.
Having a baby? Got questions about breastfeeding and early parenting?
Join us for a relaxed, information-packed session covering the basics of breastfeeding, what to expect in the early weeks and practical ways to navigate life changes with a new baby.
Although breastfeeding is the normal way to feed infants and young children, it’s also a learned skill. With time and support, most women can and do breastfeed. Our classes build on antenatal education and focus on understanding normal feeding patterns, knowing whether your baby is getting enough and recognising the natural rhythms of those early days, weeks and months. We encourage parents to attend while pregnant or soon after birth.
