CartoGIS Training: Introduction to Story Maps. Training focus is on research communication.

2023 training sessions provided by CartoGIS (now part of the Scholarly Information Services Division). Please note: training is for ANU staff, HDR students and Postgraduate students only.

Learn to use Story Maps, an easy-to-use story telling tool which allows you to weave a compelling narrative and share it with your audience.What: Over 4 x 2hr sessions, you will use well-designed layouts to develop a Story Map based on your own research. You will explore the potential of Story Maps for research communication; design and assemble your story; use Express Maps to provide spatial context for your research; and learn to promote your Story Map once it is created.
