But whilst we’ve been spending substantial amounts of time in these civic spaces, do we really have any agency within them?Own It! Exhibition asks participating artists, students, writers, community groups, and designers to unpack the value of community autonomy and emotional investment in public space. The exhibition will express the intimate stories and relationships of community and landscape: through lenses of disruption, duty and structured agency. Set up to empower the broader audience of the Own It! series, the Exhibition provides opportunity for those engaged to express their valuable and unique thoughts in an informal exhibition; an equal platform to share insight and provide possible futures. This Design Week Exhibition is an honest, quirky and interdisciplinary conclusion TCL’s Own It! Series. Three symposiums will be held prior to this exhibition – providing space to individually discuss and practice the topics of Disruption, Duty and Advancing Agency.
