Old Kilmore Gaol

Killfest returns in 2022 for a one day heavy music festival which will be held in the grounds of the historic Old Kilmore Gaol on November 26th.Presented by Quirky Sounds and HEAVY, Killfest 2022 features a stellar line-up headlined by Psycroptic and Skeletal Remains (USA) but also sees Perths Innasanatorium, Sydneys Flaming Wrekage and locals Dreadnaught, Firing Squad, Scarn'on, Nothing, Abreact, Vicious Cirle and As Flesh Decays. The festival site was a gaol from 1859 until 1891 when it was decommissioned and used as a butter factory. In the 1960s it became a private home and was a restaurant in the 1990s before reverting again to a private home in 2004. Today, the gaol is used for commercial purposes. Its bluestone walls and exterior appearance are the only original features that have been retained. In what will be a picturesque and some would say fitting location for a metal event, the Old Kilmore Gaol is the perfect backdrop for Victoria’s re-emergence as the live music capital of Australia.Proudly supported by Daemco, Dexters Hot sauce, Tooborac Brewery, Ausmerch and Inkstinctive Tattoo.Tickets to the inaugural Kilfest will be $40 pre-sale or $50 on the door.In memorium and commemoration of the late, great Alexi Laiho, organisers are proud to once agaim name the stage after the founding member of Children of Bodom.Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite. This is an 18+ event. We are a COVID SAFE event. Please read below:Each attendee is asked to do a symptom self-assessment prior to leaving home and not attend if they are unwell or have been instructed to isolate or quarantine. At this point you must be double vaccinated to attend this event. If this changes you will be informed.
