About this event

21st Australasian Bat Society Conference

Registration and presentations on any topic of bat biology and conservation are invited for the 21st Australasian Bat Society Conference.

Instructions for registration

Please fill out a separate registration for each conference delegate. This registration form has been designed to be read in conjunction with the ‘Call for Registration’ document which provides all the necessary details. This has been emailed to all members and is also available on our website here. The conference will be a hybrid with both in person and online options, however we encourage members to join us in person if possible.

What does an in-person registration include?

Full conference registration includes;

  • the welcome function
  • the three-day conference
  • morning tea, lunch and afternoon teas each full conference day
  • registration pack (incl. the conference handbook and mug), and
  • three-course conference dinner*

*note that the conference dinner is included in the registration fee to encourage everyone to attend.

Optional additional events

A free, full-day workshop on Key Biodiversity Areas will be hosted on the day before the conference, Tuesday 16th April. An overnight field trip to Calperum Station will be hosted after the conference, leaving from Adelaide on the morning of Saturday 20th April and returning to Adelaide around lunchtime on Sunday 21st April. Abstracts for talks ands posters need to be emailed to Leroy Gonsalves at leroy.gonsalves@dpi.nsw.gov.au by 1st March 2024 – see the abstract template here.
