In collaboration with The PE Umbrella, Energetic Education is excited to announce a series of fantastic full-day FunShops across the UK in Summer 2022. 

This workshop is designed for primary and high school teachers &amp; coaches looking for new and exciting ways to develop students’ well-being through engagement in enjoyable activities and level up their PE sessions by developing their pupils PE Umbrellas! 

These workshops have been conducted in over twenty different countries worldwide, with incredible results aimed at both primary and secondary teachers. You can read more about these in some of the reviews we have received below.


The Physical Activity FunShop - An essential workshop focusing on how to improve increase fun, movement, and improve the mental health and well-being in your school and showcase strategies to develop the PE Umbrellas of your students, preparing them for life!

Workshop topics include: 

•	Building positive relationships through the power of human connection, games and fun in the classroom.
•	Reframing success in PE so everybody can succeed
•	The power of 6 words – effort vs skill
•	Emotional literacy activities and ideas to use at home and in school.

About the presenters

Dale Sidebottom is the creator and founder of Jugar Life and Energetic Education. Dale is a full-time 'play' consultant who taps into his 15+ years working in the education and fitness sectors to educate individuals, schools, sporting clubs and corporate organisations globally on the benefits 'adult play' can have on mental health and wellbeing. Dale is the author of All Work No Play and the top rating 'Energetic Radio' podcast and TEDx speaker. Dale has worked face to face with students, teachers and schools in over 20 countries around the world.


Ryan Ellis is the creator and founder of The PE Umbrella podcast and provides development &amp; training in primary Physical Education for schools, universities and SCITT’s. As a former primary school class teacher, Ryan understands the demands of the role and provides training that is actionable and relevant. He has always viewed the role of ‘PE’ as more than simply playing sport and celebrating the elite and is an advocate of the wider role it can play in shaping our students and how it stitches life skills into the very fabric of their character. This IS their PE Umbrella.

In addition to a fun-filled day with an internationally renowned presenter, workshop attendees will receive an Energetic Education resource pack (valued at over $200), plus a year’s access to the Fitness Games Zone website (valued at $99).

What food will be provided at the two-day workshop? 
All meals will be provided as part of your ticket. If you have dietary requirements, we will design a set menu to suit your needs. This will be organised closer to the date. 

What is the cancellation policy?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds on tickets purchased. Flights, accommodation and travel arrangements are to be organised by individual guests. We do not take responsibility for any travel arrangements.
