2026 Twilight Sports VOLUNTEER Registration
Twilight Sports 2026 dates:
- Term 1 - 5 week Outdoor Summer Oztag Program: Fridays, 27 February-27 March, 6-9.30pm, The Crest Field 4, Carysfield Road, Georges Hall
- Term 2 Mixed Netball: Fridays, 8 May-19 June, Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre, Riverwood
- Term 3 Basketball: Saturdays, 2 August-13 September, Bankstown Basketball Stadium, Condell Park
- Term 4 Volleyball: Fridays, 23 October-4 December, Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre, Riverwood
- Time: Terms 2-4 6.30-11pm (including set up and pack down)Term 1 is 1 hour earlier due to outdoor program
Please note, to volunteer you must be 18 years and over with a Working With Children Clearance number, https://www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/child-safe-organisations/working-with-children-check/apply.
Twilight Sports is a FREE indoor non competitive sports program aimed at encouraging participation and fun for 12-18 year olds. The program aims to engage young people through sport in a safe supervised environment, while benefiting the Canterbury-Bankstown community through:
- Providing positive role models for young people
- Providing young people with access to local youth and support services
- Providing volunteering opportunities and training
- Building self esteem and resilience in young people
The program includes dinner, uniforms and transport home. Volunteering opportunities include team managing, scoring, bus logistics, bus assistant.
Players and volunteers are encouraged to:
- Enjoy the spirit of the game and not focus on winning
- Use the games to build both players skills and interpersonal relationships
- Give all players an opportunity, regardless of skills and experience
