The 2026 Gold Coast Health Research, Innovation and Transformation Showcase will explore how research and innovation drive transformational change.

The theme of this year’s Showcase is building solid foundations for future success.

Participants will be taken on a journey of cutting-edge healthcare technologies aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

Through live demonstrations, static displays and enlightening presentations, attendees will witness how dynamic digital technologies and innovative, clinical and health systems research is being integrated to transform health care at Gold Coast Health.

Parking Information:

We have a commercial multi-storey parking facility with more than 2,200 under-cover car parks open 24 hours a day. The parking facility is operated by Point Parking. Information about parking can be found on the Point Parking website.

Please be aware, parking at GCUH is limited. Please allow extra time to park – particularly during wet weather – or consider public transport options.


Public Transport Information:

There are a range of public transport options available to visitors at Gold Coast University Hospital, with a bus stop and light rail station seeing you to the hospital's front door. Visit the Translink website or contact 131 230 to plan your journey.

Buses: Buses 710, 714, 719, 738 and 739 all stop at Gold Coast University Hospital.

G:Link (Light rail): There is an underground G:Link tram station below the main entrance of Gold Coast University Hospital. It includes extra amenities such as public toilets, stairs, escalators and lifts.

Taxi zone: There is a drop off zone at the hospital's main entrance for taxis.
