About this event

The Mayor of The Hills Shire Council, Dr Peter Gangemi, invites families to come along and experience The Mayor's Easter Egg Hunt and Open Day on Sunday 24th March.

There will be Easter themed activities including egg and spoon races, colouring in, Golden Ridge Petting Zoo, cookie decorating, face painting or hop on over for a special Easter storytime with Council's library caddy. There will also be a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny! Activities are suitable for primary school aged children. We will also have a coffee van available to purchase hot drinks from. A FitKidz quiet space will be active for all sessions.

There will be 1 ticketed sensory session for "The Mayor's Easter Egg Hunt!" which will run for approximately 20 minutes and bookings are essential. The Sensory Easter Egg Hunt will run from 9:40am - 10am.

Each child participating in the Egg Hunt will need to swap their ticket upon arrival for a wristband indicating their allocated session time.

Registration is only required for the child/ren participating in the Easter Egg Hunt. Adults and non-participating children do not need to register to attend the other activities at the Farm.

The Friends of Bella Vista Farm will also be running their Bella Vista Farm Open Day, which will include Devonshire tea, tours of the homestead and the Trash & Treasure stall. These activities require a small donation which will go towards the Friends of Bella Vista Farm and their conservation efforts.

Entry to Bella Vista Farm is free but bookings for The Mayor's Easter Egg Hunt are essential and are strictly limited.

Bella Vista Farm is an outdoor venue with some limitations on accessibility.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1 x Easter Egg Hunt session per child only, no multiple bookings for different sessions, to allow as many children to participate in the activity as possible.
