About the Speaker
‘Doc Frank’ as he is widely known in the Australian and international signalling scene, is a Fellow of the IRSE with over 30 years of industry experience. He advised railways in the four biggest Australian cities on their next generation of digital signalling, including participation in all three CBTC initiatives in Australia. Frank also conducts training courses for CBTC, ETCS and High Capacity Signalling, including the longest-running CBTC training in the world. Other contributions to the industry include a prolific presence on LinkedIn, the podcast “Railway Conversations with Doc Frank” and the organisation of the CBTC World Summit 2023, the world’s first global virtual CBTC conference.
