What is the terrain like?

Eden Farm is flat, grassy or gravelled mostly. During dry spells the ground can crack &  in wet periods the it can become slippery. It is recommended to check Numurkah weather conditions before attending & wear appropriate shoes & clothing like gumboots. Closed in shoes are a must for festivals!

What shoes should we wear to your festivals?

Accepted Answer

Always wear closed-in shoes to Eden Farm. Because we are a biodynamic Farm, we can’t use chemicals so occasionally Bathurst Burs and Bindieye can grow - even amongst our flower paddocks! Don’t wear thongs, slides, sandals, or high heels because Bathurst bur and bindi eye prickles are NASTY!

What should we bring?

Accepted Answer

Sun hats, sunblock, mozzie spray, a picnic blanket if you like, warm clothes,dress in layers, strong boots or gumboots (because the prickles are nasty & if we’ve just watered, you won’t want mud on your Sunday best shoes (strictly no thongs/slides, cash for food/drinks in case the internet is down.
