Annie's Army is all about making a difference. We kicked things off in early 2018 in honor of Annie Lyngcoln, who showed true grit in her battle against heart complications.
Our mission? To raise those much-needed funds for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation. And hey, we're shooting for $20,000 every year!
We've tackled some pretty epic challenges over the years, like conquering the Kokoda trail in seven days, riding the Cardiac Challenge (Cairns to Cooktown) six times, throwing down in some amateur boxing matches, and hosting the legendary Annie's Long Luncheon Fundraiser. Plus, we added a new twist in 2024 with the Paint n Sip event!
Thanks to the incredible support from our Cairns crew, we've already raised over $110,000 for the Cairns Cardiac Unit. This year, we're setting our sights even higher with a target of $40,000. Let's smash it and hit that $150k milestone for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation in just over six years!
